The Cal Veterans Group was created in 2004 by a UC Berkeley student veteran looking for a way to bring together military veterans on campus, reach out to returning vets across the community, and provide resources and mentorship for future students. Currently, we engage in all of this work plus more. From philanthropic activities, outreach to local community colleges, and advocacy on legislation pertaining to veterans, we serve to become a beacon for vets hopeful of gaining access to and succeeding in higher education.
